Why heated vestslast one winter
You can't wash them, they fit loose so heat leaks, and so they die early. The problem was never the heating element — it was the structure.

Left — warm air escaping through the collar and armholes of a loose vest. Right — a close-contact structure holding heat against the body.
What goes wrong
You can't wash it
Heating wires and battery connectors are sewn into the garment. Sweat and site dust stay in the fabric.
It fits loose
An air gap forms between the body and the heating element. Warmed air escapes through the collar and armholes.
It dies early
When heat leaks, the vest runs at maximum output to compensate. The battery drains at that rate.
Core 01
The heating module comes out completely
Most vests marketed as washable still have connectors and wires built into the garment. IVY uses a docking structure: pull the module through the velcro opening and release the connector. With the electronics out, the garment washes like any other.

Core 02
3D skin-fit pattern with no air gap
We removed the zipper and used a pullover construction that follows body contours. The heating element sits against the skin, so heat goes into the body rather than into the air.

Worn under outerwear, the silhouette stays flat.
Core 03
rPET high-tenacity fabric from recycled bottles
Collected PET bottles are shredded, washed and melt-spun into high-purity recycled yarn, then woven at high density with a specialty coating. Each vest uses recycled yarn equivalent to fifteen 500ml bottles. We use GRS-certified fabric.

Double-stitched seams and seam-sealing tape reinforce high-abrasion areas.
Detach, wash, dock

Detach
Open the velcro panel, pull out the heating module and battery, release the connector.
Wash
With the electronics out, the vest is an ordinary garment. Machine-wash it.
Dock
Dock the module again once dry. If a module fails, replace only the module.

Designed for long outdoor shifts on construction and logistics sites.
